Check Yourself Before You Wet Yourself

I have in my opinion a fairly decent imagination. I love super heroes and James Bond, Star Trek and time travel and a bunch of other stuff. I love to live in my imagination and think about the future and picture what I will be doing. I enjoy thinking about movies I will be in one day, books I will write, and the different countries I have yet to explore. Dreaming is a wonderful thing. In fact, dreaming big and dreaming often is a necessity if you want to have a meaningful life. The problem with dreaming is that sometimes we stop there. Dreaming is just the beginning…it is only conception. Have you ever dreamed about going to the bathroom only to turn over and realize you are lying in your own urine? You see, you can dream about going to the bathroom all day long, but you better get yourself out of bed and into the water closet or you’ll be sorry. In like manner, dreams are a great starting point, but you need to get out of bed lest you soil yourself in the pit of regret wishing you had acted on your dreams. Life is a vapor…don’t wet yourself.
